Summer Camp Information 2010 |

Children will have a
great summer as they enjoy punching and kicking their way to fun
during one of our Karate Summer Camps. A typical day will consist
of Karate classes, games, martial arts movies and more! The
Martial Arts Gym is also proud to be the only summer camp in the
area to use the "12 Life Skills" Program. Through this program,
kids will learn confidence, discipline and respect through written
and verbal exercises. In addition to reaching individual goals in
our karate classes, we will teach the importance of team work
through indoor games, such as; kickball, soccer, capture the flag
and more!
WK#1) June 14-18 "Mad
Scientist Week"
Explore the world we live in from plants & animals to the envirmont. In addition to the great Kenpo Karate classes the kids will enjoy, there will be crafts, which will concentrate on all kinds of scince projects. The week will end with a trip to the museum at Discovery Place.

WK#2) June 21-25 "Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) Week"
Campers will see the entire 2007 TMNT movie as well as learn to swing the Nunchuks like Michelangelo, then keep them! All campers will get a pair of rubber nunchuks for attending this week. In class we will concentrate on weapons training and then finish the week with a trip to the park.

WK#3) June 28 - July 2
"Patriot Week"
Join us for the all American "Patriot Week".
Join us for the all American "Patriot Week". This Red, White & Blue week will have crafts concentrating in patriotic themes. Campers will learn all about the history of this great nation, finishing with a trip to Kate's Skating rink and walking in the Indian Trail 4th of July parade.
